Where Is Everyone?
Hi all, where's everyone gone. I'm guessing it's the Bank Holiday!
Is anyone doing anything interesting? I'm supposed to be fixing the wifes truck but today is a day out. I'm going to see the Vulcan Hanger Tour at what used to be RAF Finningley now Robin Hood Airport. Although it no longer flies they still run it as a museum and the occasional engine runs. There's also a Canbera aircraft which is the trusts next project to get airworthy. What's everyone else doing? |

Morning Jim. I'm sat out the sun atm waiting for the rest to wake up!
Might have a go at filling the hole in the bathroom sink today as clouds are rolling in. Think the girls want to go shopping so I'll try and avoid that No plans for anything more except food and ale. |

Just got in from a couple of hours on the bike, chilling out to the Belgian GP (not chilling to Kodi dropping out from time to time).
Will be doing a bit of work on the truck bed later & trying to work out the best place to put a fridge.. Tomorrow another couple of hours on the bike then maybe a trip out to Hilbre Island depending on tide times or a run out to Bala and Chirk Quarry to have a nose at the pay'n'play sites. I grew up a couple of miles from Chirk and never knew there was a quarry there, mines yes, a quarry no. |

It's been fantastic, almost too hot, but today is a bit of light drizzle.

Grey n' orrible 'ere...typical Bank Holiday weather.
This afternoon has all the hallmarks for being an afternoon to stick in an old Betty Hutton or Jack Warner film. |

Massive thunder storm early morning, then back to 30degC+ normality.......too hot.
Drove out to a lovely village by a delightful river, where a 'Vide Grenier/Brocante' was taking place. Basically a car boot/antiques sale........I manage to resist buying worse stuff that I've ever given away...... But.....it is an amazing community event, for young and old, a chance to meet friends have a bite to eat and a few pressions..... |

Back from the Vulcan Experience, great hanger tour and nice to see the Canbera before it is returned to the skies. Well worth it guys if you ever get the chance to go.
