Default Well Here I Am In The Middle Of Another DofE Qual

As some of you know I volunteer for a youth organisation and as part of this I lead Dule of Edinburgh Award groups. Half way through my latest qual this weekend. Got to be in Stockport for 8:00 in the morning and then being bused around sunny Cheshire tomorrow to prove I can supervise a D of E group and the forecast is rather moist, oh what fun

Had to do a small online assessment and got 92% so some of it must be sinking in

Fingers crossed for tomorrow

Good luck Jim, where in Cheshire will you be, I guess north Cheshire ?
We will be in Crewe, South Cheshire, visiting Outlaws lol. 12 -5 pm
We were both born in Cheshire, lived close to Crewe for a number of years.

Back home and finished, just wait for postie to bring me a certificate in a few weeks time. After November this year this qual will be a requirement to supervise d of e expeds. Feeling pretty pleased with myself because I knew more and picked more up than more senior members of staff. Haha even picked up a major dangerous road crossing that was on a route for some youngsters out on a d of e exped at the moment.

Sitting back having a break for a while now.
