Default DVLA add amendments, so be aware.

I have just been reading the DVLA web site, and they have sneaked in this ammendment.

A few years back, we collected a couple of American friends from Birmingham air port, and by chance, last visit to USA, I had picked up a window mounted American Flag, so as I loaded the car with them and their luggage, they queried the flag mounted on the driver's window, I said it's a legal requirement if you have foreign visitors, to fly their national flag, in case the authorities wish to stop the car within the Airport area.... Gotcha lol...

They saw the funny side, but also when we took them for a day out, we stopped as we entered Wales, I said have you got your passports? their faces....

lol...

I was invited by my host family along to their church in Wisconsin when I was younger. The preacher felt that he should introduce me to the congregation as the visitor from Wales.
Cue huge gasp from the good people of Chippewa Falls on hearing this.
The preacher realised his mistake and correct himself... Wales, England.
Collective sigh of relief.
Not that Wales, this Wales you fools!
