Default Oil central heating

I have to dispose of 6 litres of used chip pan oil can I stick it in my central heating oil tank or will it damage something?

Just thinking... would you pour used engine oil into the tank, probably not, for the sake of damaging or blocking the feed pipes, valves or filter, is it really worth doing it, how much is 6 litres of central heating oil, after all that is what money you are trying to save.

If you had 300 litres, then that would be worth looking into...
Used chip pan oil will contain moisture, who knows, it might help to cause corrosion.

No!!!

You will block filters and screw the pump and get little or no combustion...

I am a sole trader servicing/repairing domestic oil fired boilers
