My 2004 is underneath the centre console behind the handbrake, pop the plastic T shaped piece of plastic out of the cubby hole under the handbrake, release the handbrake, shine a torch in there and see if you can see a silver box with a white sticker on, IIRC it has a big yellow harness going to it and may be secured to the floor with a clamp

I found it and you have to remove all lower dash glove box and part of centre console will put pics up tomorrow in day light as just fitted tunit box and will put dash back tomorrow. On later ones its between ash tray and lower cubby hole and yes all lower dash does have to come out just to get ecu out so you can count down and up to clamp wires in for tuning box. My ecu is the 130pin type so you dont wanna guess at it

You can just see ecu top so you have to undo 4 screws and lower ecu out

Hi again.
Whoa looks like a lot of work!!
How did the wiring up go?
Can the centre console come out without taking glove boxes out each side?
Jim

Affraid not as there are bolts behind them to get to to remove centre dash. Tbh an hour and its just screws nothing else. Wiring is fine as only 4 wires your tunit box should come with snap connecters that nip into the ecu wires and then spades slot into them. Just double check you have wires right
