Default The new terrano is earning it's keep

So here is a picture from the weekend, We've been to pick up a new (to us) horse trailer and the Terrano did the business, pulling her the 50 miles home without missing a beat !!!

You'd have got home quicker if you'd pulled it home rather than pushed it.

I followed the thread for fitting a front mounted mounted tow bar by mistake - so instead of pulling it off I just ran with it....

It made keeping an eye on it on the way home a whole lot easier I can tell you !!

and my reversing skills are a 1000 times better than they were....

just need to find a thread on fitting another 4 reverse gears now and I'll be right...

Yes just turn your rear diff upside down to get 5 reverse gears.
If you want the 5 in the lower ratio, then you would want to do the same with the front diff...
But since that is off set... not easy to do... so you will have to disable it by removing the front prop shaft.

I like your thinking, I assume 20 years of ownership leave you with very few scenario's you've not thought of a solution for....

I think you're talking out of your whatsit. Everyone knows that to achieve that all you have to do is swap the front diff to the rear and the rear diff to the front.
