Thumbs up Waddo

I am about to replace the abs rings on 05 Terrano 3.0 TDi . Looks straightforward but do the hubs come off easily? Any advice gratefully received . Waddo

Whats wrong with the abs to make you think it's the rings?

Welcome aboard by the way

I'm interested to see how the problem manifests itself.
I had an ABS problem that came up as sensor, changed the sensor and the problem was resolved temporarily.
Got the reader back on the car and, even though the warning light was on, didn't show any fault.
The fault is still there.
Apparently it's difficult to diagnose.

if the rings isn't a big job, I'll have a look when I change the discs.

Do keep up Alex, you commented on the other newbie thread.

not a big job at all really, did mine a couple of years back as one of the rings had a crack in it and every now and then would throw up the fault.
the wiring is the most common fault,it breaks down inside the insulation.quick and easy to fix.
