Default just raising boost makes no difference

Stupid useless info but I keep reading and have done my self raised my boost from standard 10 psi to 15psi and thought it felt better but for curiosity I've fitted my manual in cab boost controller ( gay I know but this is for research only) and been on a fairly good run just set it to standard and did some pulling away and and same with raised boost and to feel makes no difference so unless you can up the fueling buy a remap or maff amp just don't bother risking ya engine just keep it as its ment to be it just ain't worth the hassle of premature turbo or engine failure.

On another note I have a valve in my down pipe that I can pull a leaver and it makes exhaust straight through. when in 5th gear at 50mph and floor it then open flap my boost raises buy 3-4psi also spool up is alot lower rpm so if you want a little bit more poke do straight through exhaust

If this saves even one guy alot if agro ill be happy. And was fun trying it out for my own piece of mind

Nice info dude, many people fixated on raising boost, still only as fast as the fuel received and burnt

Yes it certainly did help, only up to 2500rpm, but can't set too high as enables limp mode, wind up and test, then keep backing off until max level is achieved, actually due to running issues ect mine has been off for ages

TBH the only ways to get more power are a remap or fit the older mechanical pump & up the fuelling & boost

Wanna sell it Alex? And yeah fitting mechanical pimp is massive opperation I've looked into to it. Your looking £300 ish for pump all clocks etc need to be changed as speedo is electrical. its a big job to change it and pedal need to be changed to cable operated id rather have remap and do live front axel mod before I do mechanical pump as would be cheaper and easier lol

Know it's a big job & the pedal has to be changed for a cable one but the clocks need changing yes the later ones have a electric speedo where the older ones had a speedo cable but apart from that they are roughly the same set up ie warning lights & temp & fuel gauges

Ecu can be fooled into over fueling.
Using boost gauge turn turbo up.
And fit speed chip set to putting more fuel in.
I think
