Default New d22 owner

Hi everyone. I have a 2000 x reg d22 and am looking to wanting to do some slight modifications on it. Could anyone let me know where the best place is for modifications (lift kit, winch bumper, snorkel etc)
Cheers

Welcome to the forum, Not a huge wealth of info here on the navaras but some.

Snorkels can be found on ebay and are pretty good. Only real off the shelf winch bumpers for them are made by ARB or Ironman and are expensive new. You could probably get a 'hidden' winch mount for them at a reasonable price.

Thanks had a look through your thread and what a difference your terrano looks now to when you got it a lot better now in my opinion. First thing I done to my d22 was get rid of the chavvy alloys the previous owner had on to 7 inch 8 spokes with 30/9.50/15 kumho kl71 MUDs on as had them lying around but once lifted will be going to 10 inch 8 spokes with 35s on.

You will be better off going to a local fab shop/blacksmith with some experience in 4x4 bumpers and get something custom to be honest.

Hope you've done the engine mods first. Essential to keep it in one piece. David.

If not read this, needs doing. http://www.nissan-navara.net/viewtop...c2cfdea1c205bc

Hi & welcome snorkels are easy to get for the D22, winch bumpers can be costly but second hand ones do pop up on ebay now & again as for lifting it there used to be a member on here called Tam & he did a 2" body lift & a 2" suspension lift on his if I remember right the front was done by adjusting the torsion bars & the rear was done with longer spring hangers can't quite remember fully what else was done as it was about 7 years ago now but sure he was running 33" tyres, will have a look might even have some pic's of his old D22

Ok thanks for info yeah mines torsion bar front and extended spring hanger for the rear will be made up. No need for the engine mods as mine had the d25dt engine in which was the bomb proof one before bringing out the unreliable one that big ends go on and blow con rods through the block
