No can do...
I've just had another go at fitting my A bar and I must admit defeat. I took the grille off, but see no way at all to get to where the top straps have to be bolted on. Maybe if I removed the rads or complete bumper and I don't want to get that involved. What a design that you can't get a hand in let alone a drill etc.
Anyhow, I'll put it in the for sale section later and well as ebay. Shame as it's a nice bar I have put a few new pictures and a video on Photobucket (1st link) as well as the ones I took the first time round (2nd link). http://s773.photobucket.com/user/paf...ibrary/A%20Bar http://s773.photobucket.com/user/paf...y/T2%20A%20Bar |

Damned if I can see how it goes on. Unless I can get someone local to fit it, I'm gonna sell it... |

So are you saying that the bottom bolts will stop the A bar moving?
These are the fixings that I have - http://s773.photobucket.com/user/paf...rSide.jpg.html |

I used the spot light mounts on mine as the top mounts had been cut off.
I made a couple of brackets out of 5mm flat bar. I bolted mine to the top of the bumper. Took out 2 of the clips that hold the plastic to steel frame and replaced them with m8 nuts and bolts. |

Got any photee's of your spotlight bracket mounts? From what I can see from a photee of my A bar, the spot mounts are not high enough to a straight flat bar, did you make up a stepped flat bar? http://s773.photobucket.com/user/paf...trap2.jpg.html Thanks. Has anyone got a top grille clip that I could buy? I managed to drop one and for the life of me I can't see where it fell. |
