I missed the S3 . I went S2 to S4 as I read at the time the S3 was bit of an inbetweener. Can you go to the S4 ?
S5 much the same, no big change from S4 . Now I'm just waiting for the S6 to land , mmmmmmagic Back to the point , what do you need to know ? Plenty of real tech data on "Phone Arena" |

My S3 has been slow since not long after getting it and got slower and slower. Even factory reset doesnt seem to help. Tried adding things slowly to see if I can workout whats doing it but seems to just go slow.
Wife has never really beleived me until other week when she had lost her phone in the car. Tried to call her by going to phone, call logs and her number. It took forever which is the norm. Not been a good experience of android to be honest, I know you are a fan of droid Pete. Got a s4 for work but that doesnt get any apps on it so no comparison really. That said the s3 hasnt really now other than the samsung bloatware. Thinking about letting my son root it to see if its any better and after that bin it. |

Had 2 x S3 (1 drowned......mea culpa!) Had no problems with speed or performance, and it is used as a mobile office.... got an S3mini as UK phone.....no problems there either......although I will agree that the volume if bloatware is appalling, if I knew how to root it, I would and clear the crap off it......

Sounds like a problem, the only thing I did when I gave it to my mum was replace the battery |

Hi Sweety well the s3 is older than the s4 mini, just mine has never been a good phone. My contract is up in a couple of months and im thinking about just getting a 30 day rolling contract with my current provider. Im leaning towards an iphone. Theyre easy to use but so are android really. Itll be compatible with my ipad. The storage is accessible from android but not on apple, but thinking about it when was the last time i needed the space and what would I store. People talk about android being customisable, how many people truly understand that statement? Only thing putting me off iphones are the prices.

Iphone 6 or go home. The others have no battery life to speak of in comparison to most others. Buying s/h is worse as you can't get at the battery out of the iphones I don't think. As said before you must have some issue with the S3, shame you didn't hassle your contract provider about it.
Storage is to be fair less of an issue these days as you can stream your sounds and cloud store most things. So all you need is enough onboard storage for your apps . I prefer the free world offerings of android over apple but acknowledge their phone's quality. Still, S6 for me , hurry hurry I've just got the wife a Talk Talk sim £3.50 a month with bonkers texts, data and more minutes than even she could possibly manage |
