Default Chrome Wheels and BFG Muds

Ok, this will be the juicy picture thread of my 33's to go on.

I picked up the Chrome wheels from Sir Banshee on Sunday, £50 quid for the lot, they looked a little tatty but not as bad as I had suspected.

Since this morning at work our valeter has been going at them!

Needless to say they are not as new, but getting pretty close, alot of the buried in rust and grime has been removed!

Definately a bargain from Banshee, he might wanna resell them at £50 each

I will snap some pictures soon to let you guys have a look.

The 33" KM2's should arrive at the tyre place tomorrow, then its just a case of getting them fitted.

ONE PROBLEM I might have is the wheel nuts, as I had to bin the original ones for my alloys that I have now... Dont suppose anyone has a spare 24 wheels nuts sitting around

Actually this may be tricky as they are chrome plated, problem is the spray wont stick. Even getting the chrome plating off will be tricky

I'm in no hurry, they will be covered in mud.

Got a chrome silver powder in at work you could do your bumpers in for the full bling look
Second terrano I bought had chrome steelies on just like them you have bought.
First job was paint the dish black as it was badly rusted up.
Left the centre chrome. Looked nice I thought.

I guess you didn't use a paintbrush and hammerite? That would be my plan peeps at work told me the paint wont stick to the chrome.

As there was more rust than chrome I just sanded them down and used a special primer for chrome made by international paints.
Lasted a good few years
