It has happened before.
If you replace it with a used one, make sure you get the same side again, as they barley sugar, ie wind up a bit, hence the need sometimes for realigning and if you use one from the other side, it will try to unwind and fatigue and it will fail early.

PS you haven't replaced it before have you?

Ouch:doh as Rustic has said if you go for a second hand one make sure it comes off the same side. I have seen an imported SWB Mistral which had been lowered by something like 3" it looked ok'ish but it was hard to get my head around it looks wise after owning a SWB & used to seeing them lifted:lol mind you I bet it would have cornered well:thumb2

No its stuck haha could this be because I have jacked the front up as I have put bigger tyres on or is it just unlucky?

You didn't jack it up under the torsion bar, I presume?

I assume he means that he has raised the truck using the torsion bar adjustment, so the front is raised to allow the bigger tyres to fit, and not actually place the jack under the bar.:thumb2

Yeah sorry I didn't put the jack under there, I meant raised it on the torsion bars because of the bigger tyres.

yep undriveable unless you jack it up and fix it somehow in the upper position, wooden block is a good choice as previous post, Rick

Had an adjuster bolt snap on mine last year. As a get me home fix I took out one of my body mount bolts and used that until rick sent me a replacement :thumbs
