If its some freebie software that tells you it'll clean your drive up and make your computer faster leave well alone. |

Don't know about this particular one, but there are several better than the crappy windows one. Some people were complaining of windows 7 defrag freezing or taking upto 7 days... occasionally with a non complete defrag at the end

Back in the day, a defrag program was an essential part of running a PC. Since Windows 7 these are now integrated into the system.
Also the size of the disc on most PC's means you are not going to worry about the space. I would recommend you leave well alone. Unless it has a very good "resume" in the event of a interrupt in the defrag, you are in danger of corrupting the hard drive and losing the lot. |

A defrag is an important part of keeping your pc healthy
But sourcing a good programme is key. As mentioned, don't use a freebie, find the best if your gonna do it and be done with it |

I would buy a good defrag programme, find the best and be done with it.
I believe a defrag is a very important process for the computer. It would be like having a library and getting every book off the shelf and never putting them back, when you want to find 50 shades of grey, it will take you ages to locate that one book |
