Not bad grouping

My best shots, first time using this guys rifle. I missed the first shot as I didn't realise how sensitive the trigger was

Not so much about the bullseye but about close grouping as when you go longer distances the gap doubles obviously

What range is that mate ? A good start though,well done

I seem to remember my old coach telling me "10 in 10p " was good grouping .

Blimey quite strict, it's only a 25m range and we were shooting with a 22 rifle, but as I said, it was someone's pride n joy, such a sensitive trigger

Iv got to re site mine today, I want to be shooting at 150M with the .17 and around 50 to 75m with the .22.

Are you using telescopic sights?
I have a webley mkIII, a very collectable .22 air rifle, but the sights some times were jarred by the recoil. Took them off in the end...
Well that's my excuse anyway...

Rubbish, come back when you've got one of these

that was with the L98A L1 Multi Purpose Assult Rifle at RAF Brampton, the trophy is in the loft, I'm not going up now

At that range I'd have got them all through the same hole, I signed up for the RAF Regiment when I was 17, did the medical, training etc and then bottled it

I too had some trophies way back . I was in College team for a while before women d--gs and booze got me

you have 3 goods shots there in a grouping the rest are spread out up and to the right due to you snatching the trigger and breathing. keep practising lol

Got to have the right space in your head as well, the breathing and mind work to put you there, it isn`t just a mechanical thing.

You've got a couple of touching holes there, so you can definitely shoot ok. You just need to work on your technique. No black art to it, it's almost all technique

Concentrate on keeping yourself comfortable.......make sure you're not twisted around, unbalanced or tense. Steady your breathing. Take a couple of deep slow breaths & squeeze the trigger don't pull, as you reach maximum exhale. That's when your entire body will be as still as it's going to get

I'm no target shooter, but this is what a modern .22 can easily do at 100 yards off the bonnet of a truck on a bipod. Bit more practice & you'll beat that easy
