Default Nissan Patrol Y61... 4.2TD!!

Alex, this is a Y61 that would run on veg

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3215580051...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Y61 4.2TD import

Wouldn't swap her for my own Y61 but I do plan an engine swap with a Y60 4.2 engine at some point in the future as it only involves moving a couple of engine mounts and a bit of wiring as drivetrain etc hooks straight up (when I have the spare funds of course)

Such a tease, this is exactly what I want, although a newer shape I live it. This will be the engine I get

It's probably put in by the owner, would be interesting to see engine bay pics.

If it's a original aus import it's going to go for loads of money.

Alex better pull your finger out, Last time I looked there was barely any 4.2s on ebay. It's only going to get worse...

Had the same thoughts myself bud!

Have seen it on eBay before, a few years ago (recognise the colour) that's how I know it's an import (from the previous listing).

My new shocks arrived today by the way ...

Funnily enough I've been chatting to a guy in Aus who's coming back here to live AND he's bringing his 2006 4.2 TD . Apparently one of the last ever made. Tax is going to sting but he said there's way too much money in it to leave it there

There was a Shiny dark Blue 4.2TD on a year or so ago.

Oh and the LHD Armoured Y61 is back on too
