Default Where to buy a maf

Following everyone's quick responses to my last post it would appear I have a defunct maf. I've had a quick look on fleabay but can only find cheap patterned parts and I've been stung on them before on my old bravo hgt. Where is the best place to buy genuine parts like a maf, is it main stealer only?

Thanks in advance

Local motor factors , would be good.Don't go down the cheap and cheerful route. It will pay in the long run to get a genuine one . Don't know the price of yours mine were bosch.

I work in the trade and tbh the ones from eurocarparts etc are ok still not always brilliant,

Be careful there are two types, the one t2cris has highlighted does not say if it is Hitachi or Bosch, the pic looks like Hitachi but may only be a representativ pic, Rick

This is the one I ordered for Hitachi as the part number corresponded but is worth a check against what yours has at the moment.

Right I'm gonna hop on this thread a bit as my maf died on the way to visiting rick today, it's been on its last legs for a while but now going uphill booting it engine light comes on and is looses power, all the typical symptoms.

We use euro car parts, they wil more than likely get one delivered to my work tomorrow, does it matter which one I get?

All I know is that I need one ASAP as I am traveling tomorrow afternoon

I went on their website but couldn't see any so assumed they didn't do them. I might be able to get one trade if they do

Alex if you have the MAF with the later part number like me it's £400 from Nissan & is the same as some of the 3L models but the earlier/cheaper ones won't work on your motor either but there was a thread on here where someone found out the mega costly MAF is used on some Vauxhall's & is 1/4 the price you just have to swap the MAF into the Nissan housing as it's different
