Default Could be Jobless soon

Morning all,

Without going into too much detail (so please dont ask yet) I may be jobless within as little as 2/4 weeks or possibly as late as the end of the year.

Im just debating what area of work to go for when I look for another Job.

I am effectively Service Manager at the moment, but im not sure if I want to stay in that field.

Scary old time as we are in the process of moving (offer on house) and that will effect where and what type of job I get too

Wish me luck

Aw man. Uncertain times are the lowest of the low. People often say when one door closes another opens, so hopefully you'll be fine. Chin up.

Sad, bad news Alex, sorry to hear that, but it seems to be the way things are at the moment. I hope it does not scupper your move, and that you can find something that will suit you........

Thanks guys

Yes this is true, perhaps the move and the job going will run smoothly together.

I will explain all in much more detail once it all happens.

Alex good luck what ever the craic turns out to be for you. You could apply for job at my local Nissan dealer as they seem not to understand the word service and always substitute the word slow in it's place.
Seriously a year ago last August came back from holiday 1st day back at work boss said I was to expensive and he had to let me go but I could work till the end of that week, I left that minuite devastated but I found a new job 3 hours later doubled my income much nicer company much nicer people some things are ment to be altought they can look bad at first.

think positive

Russell.

Sorry to hear the cr@ppy news Alex as a service manager you'll always have that to fall back on but if you fancy a change then look for something you have always fancied doing

Yes very true indeed. Thanks for the warm comments

If I do get a job in Nissan it'd be great for all of us, I imagine there would be a wealth of info and cheap parts availability on tap for us Nissan-aholics

By wealth of info i mean *correct amount of engine oil

Best of luck Alex it'll all work out im sure pal.

Hey you could try getting a job at Ford, then you can get Maverick parts that will fit the Terrano, only problem is, neither Nissan or Ford recognise each others chassis numbers

Seriously, I wish you all the best, many of us have been in this situation, including me, and sometimes it opens up other opportunities, however it is still a very stressful situation.
Good luck,

Best regards,

Rustic
