Looking good... I moved my light bar forward, and lower, so it runs along the top of the windscreen, but about 2 inches in front of it, so I do not get any glare back from the wipers or bonnet...

Same here.i turned the mounting brackets round which gave me a better scope for the position of the bar on the roof.
Don't get any glare off the bonnet now

I just turned them round so the mounting points where closer together which let them sit on the flat point of the roof.
did a bit of playing around in the dark to get the best position before I drilled the roof for fitting.

separate switch on a relay.
used it coming through the peak district one night and when I switched it off the main beam was like a pair of candles

I made a custom mount for mine, using the old light bar mounts, but it still needs a bit of tidying up and spraying. Now I have the dimensions of the bracket, I want to make one up that looks more like it is meant to be, and hope to pick up the aluminium at the weekend.

I have the lights on both a foot switch, and a dash switch, the foot switch connects it either to the main beam, or the dash switch, and the dash switch is either on or off.

Basically, it gives me the option of, permanent on, completely off, or switched by main beam.

It's nice having the foot switch, as there are times, like heavy rain, where you want to be able to use the heads and front spots, but don't want the glare back from the top LED bar. It also means, if someone comes towards me on main beam, I can give a quick flash of just the normal lights, with out blinding them with the LEDs, unless of course they really want to play...

First Post, 240W. In general, 1 LED watt, is about 6 Halogen watt, so for the same brightness, you would need a 1,440W Halogen bulb...

Just search on LED light bar... loads on there.
