new terrano11 owner
Hi all. Had the car ( black over silver, manual 3.0 sve diesel, 7 seats, 74k) for a couple of weeks and so far so good.
Reason for purchase was ssangyong musso with two extra seats too small for the kids! The car is in great nick with great tints and the cleanest wheels (like new) iv'e seen. Couple of things, the engine pulls like a train but seems to me very noisy, like a black london cab, until warm and then like a warm black london cab. Is it normal, will i get used to it? We'll see. Secondly, only one key with the usual remote problem. Looks like a fingernail has punctured the rubber and it is a little tempremental as a result. Any ideas? Sorry if this is a recurring question. Lastly digital dash been replaced, but yesterday the trip and clock reset themselves for no reason. Mostly I'm chuffed with it. Thanks in anticipation. Enjoy the snow!!!!!!!!!!!! Sico40 |

Welcome to the club mate ..... Your reference to your motor sounding like a London Taxi is spot- on mate, as they do use these engines in the Freeway taxi (if I remember correctly) ..... Just think .... the proud owner of a G.T. Massey-Ferguson !!!! ....... but at least it will run forever, (well ... almost)

hello , I'm a newbie here myself.
One of my remotes had the same finger nail pushed through the button problem, got a new fob cover from fleabay, loads on there, just do a search, mine was £6 delivered, swapped over internals, dead easy, just remember not to hold the battery between finger and thumb , it can kill the battery dead. My 3.0 did sound very agricultural, I put fully synthetic in her, sounds as sweet as, when she warms up. Although I drove with the front passenger window down, sounds like a old ford six cylinder D : |

Hi sico40 and welcome to the club, yes you will get used to your taxi!! :
And as DJ38 rightly said,if you look on the bay you can get it repaired!! Don't know about your dash,i can hardly read my digital odometer most of the time!! seemingly a common problem!! :| : |
