can anyone tell me what the fuel tank's maximum capacity is on a 96 maverick mk1

As far as I know they are all 75L.

but I think they are a bit bigger, as one time when I was having trouble finding a garage, and was running on fumes, I got 76L in to fill it to the brim.

Tank alone is 72l but full system including pipes and fuel filter etc is 75l

Thought it depends on swb or lwb , lwb is 80l swb is 70l

I don't think lwb is 80 usually 3 barrels and I'm scraping the top. Although I have dregs still in the system.

On my lwb if tank is very low and If I neck the tank I can almost get between 90 and 95l in

Going off the owners manual it's 75L for the SWB & 80L for the LWB have owned both & thats what it took to fill them up from empty

100% 70 litres from empty on the forecourt

not taking into account whats already in the pipes etc

So I stand by what i said

70 litres in a SWB
