YES!!! kiss my lily whites vodafone!! after years of having a simple ring and text mobile phone my wife kindly bought me a fancy pants i phone thing
now having a works contract for the last ten years i rang up vodafone to check if i needed to alter my contract/apply internet etc(i am a bit dense in this area). "its all set up ready carry on" i was told, so i did...... bill came in now i am used to £8 to £9 a month max... this bill was £90 for 1 day rang them up, confused, bricking it partly if truth be told, to be told it would be looked into. 2 weeks later i ring back, apparently they tried to get intouch but the email bounced back, i did point out that they had my mobile number the long and short of it is that i have had to threaten them with the ombudsman to get them to check the recording of phone call (which has been erased!?) and then get my company dude to threaten to withdraw usage to get them to back down. corporate swines beaten down by erm corporate goodie! my monthly bill would have been £3k+ partly my ignorance, yes, but i did seek advice from them before using the phone. take care peeps. |

yes, my insider emailed me personally(tho i have never seen her) and said jump ship "its a rubbish package". i pay 1p per txt and 2p per minute calls, i now pay £8.50 a month for internet access but no standing charges ever. tbh i was happy with just texting until i got this phone. thanks, will look into it.
