I have not got one but have a few customers that do.
im still offering them a free window clean for a dip but there not having any of it you can buy them for about 2/2.5k but I bet it cost 500 a year in electric as they need to run constantly |

We fell in love with them last year too but not the environment bashing electric ones. I'm talking wood powered
Wooden tub part from two people upwards and a stainless steel steam engine type boiler. 7 logs is all it takes and about half an hour warm up time. I making one from a kit next month. New ones cost about £1000 Costs a few pence to run, unless you have your own trees like me You just can't beat a dip under a clear night sky and a bottle of vino collapso |

I can't work out how to do Linky from my phone but will do it later for you. Mine's using a back boiler log burner and a huge whisky barrel I'm having made.

Not sure what the wattage is of the pumps on hot tubs but TBH I never really noticed much difference when I ran 2 pumps & a UV filter on my old pond poss about 70 watts. One thing tho you'll have to empty it for the winter incase of freezing unless your going to use it over the winter

We bought one about 3-4 years ago for £1500, kids had a choice between a Tub or a holiday and we still got the tub
we fill ours up from the combi boiler when the sun comes out and it takes about half an hour. it is hard wired to a 16amp breaker an pulls about 3.5Kw when on full tilt. it will run the pumps or the heater but not both at the same time. we never leave ours on for more than a few days at a time. As for ones at log cabins I wouldn't get in one if you paid me. I have seen what comes out of our filters and we shower before using it, just think what the people have been upto the week befor you got the cabin |
