On my 2.7, It had a pig tail thing, bolted to the chassis, on my 3.0 it's got an eye type affair.

No pics... but I can advise some info...
There are two threaded holes in each chassis member, and the tow point is normally on the driver's side. The hook is a pig tail hook. The same fixing points are used for the front bull bar when fitted. I fitted a front tow bar to mine, for when launching the boat. At a guess I think the bolts are M12 x 1.25 but that is from memory. Anyway, the same as Picasso wheel bolts.

The 2.7 had the same as Bud's picture, only the one though.

OK here you go Alex a pic of mine, Nissan penny pinched after 2003'ish & stopped fitting the pig tails I managed to get a pig tail from the scrap yard just need another one for the other side now. Anyway if you look at the pic you'll see 2 loop hanging down these are the tie down points but Nissan made the drivers side longer on the later models I think to act as a recovery point
