Default Tip/skip finds

Went to the local tip to drop some old cabinets off. Found these there, Result!

Anyone else had any cool tip/skip finds?

grew up drooling over bang and olfsen stuff. its probably still worth a bit.

I wont go into details but a close relation used to make a living out of skipping.
it was his proffesion if you like.he had a lot of contacts who worked there and turned a blind eye.
I remember once ( was a young boy.) he ended up putting a full size professional coin operated football game on the roof. the type you twiz the handles to flip the players over to kick the ball.

you cant do it now

it would be impossible now around here.
its classed as theft and they enforce it.

I found a Snap-On toolbox in a skip once.

Best skip find ever though, was when I worked for a waste recycling company & a load of supermarket rejected goods came in. Turned out it was a container-load of Guinness that had to be skipped as a few cans had burst & ruined the cardboard of the boxes
