Is this the friendliest forum?
Reading Zippy's thread should i stay or go got me thinking about forums in general.
I have joined quite a few forums over the last few years( had a lot of cars) A few of the forums have been 4x4 related, won't mention names but i have found myself visiting this forum on an almost daily basis where i will go weeks/months without visiting other forums, even though at present my old Trol is off the road. I don't always post comments/threads but more often just read other folks posts which quite often put a smile on my face. Now i can do this with any forum and this is my point i always end up here with you folk which leads me to think this could be the friendliest forum as all are welcome even if all we have is the slightest interest in 4x4s (even green oval) |

I just have to agree, one of the best around, plenty of great advice, great banter and quite a lot of long hair

Forum Love
I completely understand where you are coming from..........It took a change from Nissan to Hyundai for me to realise what a great place this is even though we have to fork out with spondolies once a year.
OK we have clubbed together to help members who have been taken advantage of or were in a financial pickle but in a way we are the facebook of car forums. The moderators allow a lot of elasticity on a subject we can have a little rant or go off on a tangent and end up not just with the answers we seek but with a little wisdom in the process. Its a British version of Parisian Cafe Culture if you will and we have a few canny Scotts & Welsh folk to boot not forgetting our female contributors. I need a hanky I am starting to well up........too much cheese late at night methinks.... |

Hair is over rated.
This forum is the friendliest one I have found, it is good that people go off subject and crack jokes. Reading the posts make you feel part of a friendly gang not a group of anoraks, belittling people and trying to impress. Just realised, bought my first Terri Sep 95, must be about when Ryan was born. I am glad I found it. |
