Ordered mine, should be here any day. It's going to be high on my list of "to do" jobs when I get back to Spain shortly. My clutch pedal is ok at the mo, but I don't see any point in waiting until the plastic one fails, as it appears it probably will! Nice one Jim!

Bush

Just bought one of these , fitted it the other day, bit tight in the bore so just cleaned it out a bit with some fine emery paper, greased it up and put it all back together.

Made no difference !!!

So, could it be a problem with the return spring ?

Had same, just opened it up a fraction, so pin would pass right through, and to start with thought it was fixed, but on the drive across here to Wales it started doing it again.

Did see a post where the adjusting nut had come loose, so that will be my next port of call as I have already had the spring out and checked it.

Fitted mine, no problems so far... No sticking pedal and returns every time.

Just returned from a caravanning holiday to Arisaig with the new bush fitted, only did about 800 miles but the clutch pedal has been faultless. :thumbs

I know I'm being lazy, bet there already is a thread with piccies! Has anyone got photo's showing where this wee gem sits and how to pop out the worn old bush :naughty and replace with the shiny new one?

Your right, there is a thread with pictures ;) search function is brilliant here! Lol

I got an email from Jims mate asking if I had had problems with the bush, I found it a tad tight to get it onto the pin the 1st time, but once on, it moved freely and came off again easy.
I have found the pedal now works fine, my mate want's one now.

Sorted !

The rod that goes into the Clutch Slave cylinder , the other end which connects to the
clutch pedal where the bush is fitted (following me so far ?), had moved up its thread where I had been fiddling about over the last couple of weeks. So I wound the thread out a bit, and hey presto , pedal returning.

Hope that makes sense .
