Terrano R3mR another year of ownership?
Well despite pleas from me to change it the Terrano R3mR looks like it will be kept for another year. We have had it over four and a half years and she has never let us down. She still does 2 or 3 runs a year to Calais for the booze cruise plus it's the chariot of choice for holidays, fishing days etc.
For the next MoT need to replace the nearside drive shaft boots as the silicone tape repair is a bit suspect! Just priced up a new offside front wing and its a hefty £340 from Nissan. Its rusted nicely round the wheel arch and is pushing out the moulding and looking naff. Might see if a local body shop can do a decent TIG welded metal patch instead. Her indoors just does not want to let it go so might spend a few quid on the cosmetics such as the wing rust. |
