brought them via paypal, but as it was sending the money, it come back with a error and transaction cancelled, so i emaled the the seller asking if he has recived the money, come back with a no, emailed paypal to see what happened, they emailed me back saying they have no record of the transaction,

logged onto internet banking, £310 to paypal,

Have had similar (although not identical ) experiences. It can be frustrating , especially when you are in a hurry. They seem to be slow to correct faults whether it is theirs or yours but in my experience they have ALWAYS done the right thing in the end and I have never lost out. Hope this is reassuring.

Could well be. It's all electronically controlled of course so there's no way discretion can be used. It's just a machine doing its job. A bit clinical I suppose. If you still need the tyres it might work if you order two at a time. Surely the seller would combine postage into one consignement. Good luck

Possibly E-bay are a bit fed up as they had to pay 30 million pounds out this week to the makers of top brands as they have been letting copies / fake perfumes and hand bags to be sold on there site.

I really felt sorry for them. :
