2003 LWB terrano
Just bought my first Nissan Terrano.
2003 model.in very good condition.I I'm to pull my Burstner Caravan 1250kgs. Question.... To the right or the steering wheel is a switch. On it is a picture of a car with a large cross through it. I have no idea what it does or even if it works. Also when I open the car, I use a key rather than remote, the flashers come on and stay on until I put the key in the ignition. Any help would be much appreciated. |

1st welcome to the CLUB
i think the switch is for switching of the ultrasonic detectors for the alarm |

yes it's for the alarm sensors, it means if you switch them off, you're car will be stolen, hence the cross, meaning you'll have no terrano
there's plenty of jokes here too, welcome |

Hmm well on mine it over rides the ultrasonic movement detectors. Basically I turn ignition off and press the switch, the red alarm led starts to flash quickly for something like 30 seconds. If I lock and activate the alarm whilst the led is flashing quickly the alarm is set and the ultrasonics are turned off.
PS Welcome aboard |
