I know if I tried that with my caravan, I would end up with just a chassis on arrival

I remember reading about a guy in the 70s with a Bedford van and caravan doing something similar, but he was a cleaver chap and installed an engine in the caravan for help when needed, with ingenious speed control between the two, we did a destruction derby once at Dover race way with caravans absolutely hilarious, got some pics some place, Rick

10 spike ground anchor, with multiple straps and blocks
Super strong body cills capped with scaffold pole
20% stronger springs all round
aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap.
Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.

Shows that even when forward momentum is really slow, it still pays to keep the wheels turning, and keep trying.

Not bad grip. Looks like Goodyear Wrangler running about 15 psi.
