Mistral clocks

As my ex-UK (RHD) '94 T2 is now permanently based in Spain I would like to change the speedo to read kilometres, and I'm thinking of using either a complete Mistral speedo/tacho assembly. or the clock faces from a Mistral.
Can any of you Mistral owners (or ex-owners) confirm that, a) all Mistrals are right hand drive, and, b) they have kph speedos?
Also, if anyone knows of a Mistral being broken, perhaps you could let me know.

I did think of getting a speedo from a Spanish scrappy, but I don't know if the clock assembly from a LHD Terrano would fit a RHD.

I think you will also require the drive cog from the gearbox, to get the ratio right and Mistrals are Auto if yours is auto then OK but if manual I think the diff ratio may be different, Rick

Best and cheapest way i saw was stickers on the clock face. take the clocks apart and get to the face and just put little holepunch type things on then put the KPH on them. Simples

Thanks for the eBay number, just contacted them, they've quoted me £40 for the whole clock assembly, now I have to decide if I can use it before I put my money down!

Further to my question regarding fitting a Mistral speedo/tacho assembly to my '94 T2, manual gearbox, as Rick has pointed out, there will probably be problems with gearing, so my question now is, can I just remove the kph speedo face from the Mistral set up and fit it to my mph Terrano speedo (both the Mistral and my Terrano are 1994 models)

Can anyone tell me if a 1994 Mistral speedo face will fit my 1994 Terrano (I need a kph speedo!)

Had a quick look through the manual but could not find diff ratios, I know the diff is different between the petrol and diesel models and I thought the diff was different between manual and auto but do not have the time to go through the manual to check but it is all there if you want to look for it, Rick

Thanks for that Rick, however,I have now decided against changing the whole clock assembly, it would appear to be easier just to unscrew the mph speedo clock face and replace it with a Mistral kph face, IF (big if!) they are the same! From photos they look the same apart from the Mistral one having little windows for the auto gear positions.
I'm now trying to get a bit more info on their inter-changeability.

Wont work.........unless the 30 mph and the 30 kph are in different places on the clocks.

Reason:- If you just change the face, it will still be recording in MPH so will show the wrong speed if the 30 kph and 30 mph are in the same place. 30MPH is not 30 KPH its about 45 KPH.

Does it not already have KPH on it as most uk vehicles have both, KPH is normaly found on the inside of the dial.

Yes it does but too small to read. The reason I am considering a Mistral speedo face is because Mistrals have kph speedos (Jap market only, the ones in this country are grey or personal imports), so the positioning of the figures on the face will be different, but, I'm assuming, the needle movement will be the same on both the Terrano & the Mistral, but thanks for your input anyway.
If all else fails I may well end up following your suggestion of little stickers on the clock face. Bruce
