Default newby from barnsley with maverick

hi guys, ive just got my first 4x4. a maverick 2.4 lwb. im a total newby when it comes to offroading but want to learn. im a classic ford guy myself so abit of a change from my xr3i cab that craps itself at the sight of potholes and speed bumps. got a few problems with it i will need help with but looks like the place to be

what year? might not be the same as the nissan terrano. After 98/99 the maverick is totally different.

Welcome on both counts, I've got a maverick and old skool fords Custom cortina estate 2.9 cossie, and my son's tweaking his mk2 fiesta at the mo

Hoorah! Another petrol Mav owner! There aren't many of us...

Welcome. Best advice I can offer regarding off-roading is to speak to your local greenlaning club/group. You can go to Pay and Play sites, but to be honest I tend to find these places a bit rough for a standard truck, as too many people turn up in super-modified stuff and then drive around like it's a rally stage.
