Default Amateur Radio

So some of you know about radios then, i may need your help.

I have been asked to sell some stuff on Ebay for my GF's Grandma as her husband has just passed away (Emma's grandad) i have a lot of radio stuff and need to find costs of it.

There are 3 arials with one being a directional beam. 3 Radios with 2 being yaesu and one being a big base station. Loads of cables for it all and the big main power pack, that's a wattson, found price for that, around £100 second hand.

If any one can help me out if i post pics id be very grateful as she is now on her own and im trying to get the best price's for her that i can.

(I will also post this on the main forum)

need to know model numbers of the radios.

Also antennas really.

check ebay completed listings for ebay prices on radios, usually about 10% less than ebay on private radio forum/sales.

When you advertise them emphersize that it belonged to a silent key. Many Hams are willing to put their hands deeper in their pockets. David.

The radios are a Yaesu FT-290R and a Yaesu FT-100D and the big base station is a Trio communications receiver JR-599.

I have no idea what the ariels will be called though.

I have gone through EBay to find some sort of price but up to now failed.

Im guessing the "Silet Key" would indicate someone passed away, nice touch as this will also explain why i know next to little about them.

If anyone intrested i can get you as much info as i can.
As i said they being sold to get funds for his widow, its my girlfriends grandma so i want to get the best i can for them.

All together there are 3 arials, one with fully working directional beam + control. All the cables needed to set it up and the two radios. I found out the base station is a reciever only.
Also the Wattson W-25am power supply. I got the price on that already from ebay, and they going from £100 to £125.

I can post you some pics of the Arials, they also have the poles and brackets. The smallest one is about 10 meter high, the directional beam was just mounted on the the side of the house, not sure of height on that one.

Come on guys its for a good cause and you have a fully setup working station ready to go.

Only had a quick scan, so you could be right, i was just looking for an idea.
The one i have been watching is http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yaesu-FT-1...item231de9aaf9

I know it has the box, but is still sold as untested. i know this one works.
