Side marker lights, are they legal ?
I'm thinking of putting side marker lights in the side of the front and rear bumpers and possibly along the bottom of the doors on my t2. Will it be legal ??

the latest factory side steps on shoguns have 2 amber lights each side
of car, volvos and others have them in the bumpers, just in front of front wheel and just behind rear wheel. i fancy a pair on each step, noted can get sets of 8 led units and other 4 would go on caravan on its side skrts to front and rear of twin axles and achieve a look of the big artics. i'd avoid an almost solid line of them like the pick up as could be accused of causing a distraction. that said look at how some of the big tractor units are modded, also breakdown wagons tend to go a little over the top too. but if i was always on the hard shoulder i'd want to stand out too.

I fitted 2 each side on my caravan, makes it a bit more visible at night,
as stated already, don't go over the top as it could look a bit chavvie |
