Is it true that the French rozers are going to be stopping foreign drivers and checking their satnav's for speed cameras this year, we are off to France in the summer

Hi Firebobby

I live in France and drive locally and on autoroutes regularly, in my French car, as does my son-in-law in his British registered car. Neither of us have been stopped by the police and asked to display the functions of our (British) sat-navs. IMHO the average Gendarme is not aware of this petty restriction or if he/she is, they are not going to be concerned unless there is some other pressing reason to investigate it. Try not to give them one!
