i`m about to go this friday to pick up a ford maverick 2.7td lwb and i cant wait
i know it has a few problems to sort out like power window not working passenger side and tyres but just so cant wait to be part of the 4x4 world

You've only just posted and already you're getting the benefit of zippy's extensive knowledge! If you pay the tenner you'll save much more than that, simply on the manual download. Enjoy the 4x4 world it's fun and so is this forum!

castle cary in somerset only the drivers window works nothing else drove back 4 hours in it last night in the snow and loved it

Welcome to the club, yes there is a switch on the centre console that disables all but the driver's window. PUSH IN PUSH OUT..

OR the plug under the console has become disconnected, as when hand brake adjustments are made, sometimes you to have to remove this bit.. maybe it came disconnected..
4 pozidrive screws..... Simples....

2 solutions in one posting...

Join the club, pay your tenner and we'll tell you how to change the oil filter........
If you can do that, then you have covered one of the most difficult tasks on these trucks..

now got the fun of doing the front pipe but cant get the manifold bolts undone, looks like time to put it in the garage
