Hi norrie  if you could put your vehicle details into you sig then it'll help us know what type of truck you drive.
At a pure gues from what you have said it sounds like you have a T2 TDI :?: if i'm right it sounds like the oil breater catch tank & Nissan will charge you the lovely sum of £180 for a new one 8O  Mine was feeding oil into the turbo so I fitted another oil catch tank I got off ebay thanks to Scooters help :P

Hi norrie I can email you photo's of what I have done if it'll help but I was wondering where about is it leaking eg from the top, bottom, one of the pipe fitting etc :? You may be able to glue the leak as I managed to do when I stripped mine down & the top part wouldn't stop on

Hi norrie  before you go sending money on a new oil catch tank I would give this a go as it may save you some cash  I would try gluing the crack with some epoxy resin glue or try some of the metal bodge you can get for repairing oil drums etc.
If you do have to go down the replacement route I would go for some thing like this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ALLOY-OIL-CATC...QQcmdZViewItem
you could take the feed from the rocker cover into 1 of the top fittings & use the othe 1 to feed into the inlet turbo pipe or fit a breather to it & block up the hole in the turbo pipe. Then use the bottom fixing to go back to the sump  You will prob need to fit reducers (I had to) for the pipe work which I got from my local garden centre in the pond section & they have worked great :smile:you will prob find you will have to mount the tank on the N/S of the engine bay next to your fuel filter like I had to.
If you could send me a PM with your email address I'll send you some photo's of what I did
