Default sad day today

well it is that time i thought would be a long way off!!!!

i regret to say that we as the morgan household have sold the mistral and are now the proud owners of a puegeot 406 estate.

the reason being i have to do more miles than i use to and the truck was just not cheap enough to warrant keeping it.

as i say a sad day today but i hope to be around for a while

Hello Robobone, What can i say apart from your right it is a very sad day.

You and your Mistral have been with us since the very near beginning and it is a shame that when we next see you it will be with a Peugeot 406!.

Glad to see you are staying around for a while.

Regards, Mav.

It is a sad day indeed

I guess it will come to us all eventually but I would miss my truck greatly. I was at Ikea today collecting some furniture, wife was unsure that us and the furniture would fit. Proved her wrong and 3 kids + 2 adults (if you call me an adult -rotfl- ) + the furniture no problem. Still got to find another car that would do that 8) .

Anyway hope you stay around for a long time to come Tony, you got some real mates on here buddy

To be fair mate, what with fuel prices and car tax, its amazing the rest of us are still here. I have been tempted my self, but I just love the 4x4 thing. Luckily my wife works from home and I work 5 miles away so ride to work on a 125 bike.
Perhaps you could get a cheap one as a toy

It would feel fine to buy a cheaper car now, but I know I would regret it very quickly, I'll hold on to my T2 for as long as possible, and even then you'll have to take the keys out of my clenched fist with a screaming adult attached! :
The only way I can see me having to get rid if my T2 is..

I move to Czech, which could happen, but I'll buy another when I move there...
Its written off.... and I'll get another anyway
Or The goverment bans 4x4... which could happen by the way things are going.

Other than that she is paid for and we don't do too many miles in her.
