Default tracker

a friend has had to have a tracker fitted on his fiat doblo for insurance purpose, aparently all are going to require this by 2012 but its the first ive herd. it aparently tracks what roads you have been using the time and speed :thumbdown: im hoping there just pulling my pisser but im not sure. have anybody else herd anything about it?

no mate, i bet hes on one of those new pay as you go policies, which DO require a tracker, so of course, they can se how many miles you are doing and charge the premium accordingly.

I'll go with Clivvys theory thats ts part of the t&c for the policy. We'd save a chunk on the caravan policy if it had tracker

Not heard anything about the 2012 thing though

well it seam one brother told another brother who inturn told me the tale about the tracker without the first brother telling all the tale...

i think its his own insurance policy that demands the tracker
