Sons got a v70 t5 and its great to drive ,uprated brakes and suspension police spec.Would have one when t2 goes.

Was going toget a v70 before I was talked into the sodding Mondeo, like you say great drive.

like volvos the bid dervs are vw transporter van engines,the cam belt i put on had vw on and volvo didnt have a tensioner so went to vw who matched nums lol always had soft spot for volvo,the 760td was the 6cyl lt35 engine made a lovely noise!

i used to have a 940 se turbo estate, that little beauty did 340,000 miles before the engine gave out ( i sold it a few weeks before

My mate bought his farther a T5 , previousley 30+yrs with no points.

6 weeks 6 points -now he has a V70 D5.

d5s no slouch though few as taxis round here,best taxi was merc c250td kickdown at 110mph,them were the days lol taxi mechanic roadtests!
