MOT time
ok, I am booked in with Tony up in Elland on Saturday morning, 11am. Last year, I had a couple of advisories for the front shock bushes, i never replaced them so....
I reckon ill fail on rust by the rear seat belt mount, drivers side, but the sills both still look fine. I might get stung on handbreak, but last year it passed, and its certainly no worse. Ive done approx 5k miles since the last MOT, tyres are great, cars running spot on since I fixed it, everything works. Horn is still girly, but its the saem as it was last year. Cant think of any pre mot checks worth doing as everything seems to be ok, so im just going to cross my fingers and get it in. With luck, itll pass with advisories and i can get on with my projects, or itll fail on stuff i dont expect! |

probably have a working horn on the breaker, will check tomorrow, I have MOT early Feb as well, cos I still cannot get on the ground very well, well I can get down but getting up is the prob, but Pete knows all about that, any way got Swifty to look it over, looks like all the drop links are shagged, panhard rubbers and a bit of play in the box, (adjustable) exhaust blow, and some welding, rear cills and lower wheel arch and of course the rear belt mounts, cinch for Swifty, about a day plus bits, oh and front wings rot, but two perfect wings from scrapper just wrong paint so Swifties mate will be painting them for me before they are refitted and I will waxoil them as well, Rick
