You are a Sikh, who's brother serves in the army and who's grandfather died fighting against the Nazi's in Europe.

Your family have many generations of residence in Britain and all work hard and pay their taxes.

A gang of white skinheads in EDL hoodies chanting racist slogans and showing off with snarling bull terrier type dogs walks past your house - heading in the direction you know will mean they must bump inot your son walking home alone in the dark.

would you be frightened?

no my son is part of the sikh faith a is prepared to die like the brave ones who stepped into the tent thinking they would be killed to prove there faith,plus hes carying a bloody great sword that would get anyone else thrown in jail but because hes a sikh in britain he can carry it.

and from you reply, it seems he is 'odds on' going to get attacked by racists and have to defend himself, and that you have made some stereotypical assumptions!

plank, me old mate, i think this will stir up more trouble than it 's worth to be honest, we have had a couple of debates on this type of thing, and now we should put it to bed, for awhile at least, what do you think, from here it seems that you want to keep this going until there is a big bust up and people fall out. i will not vote or get involved on this post.

edl non racist org it says so on theres and met polices website dont get many white skinhead suicide bombers realy lol,a bull terrier is as dangerous as the person in question i have 3 in my house and unlike certain jack rusels they dont pin other dogs to the ground by the neck.

what has a white skinhead suicide bomber got to do with it? and did i comment on the dog's behavior? for future reference, in this case the dog occupies the clever end of the lead

This week i have seen the police take action against people using printouts from facebook. They were making racist comments, the sort that have been made in some threads on here. This is already getting out of hand - and the self confessed racists are only proving their bigotry.

I'm not a 'wind up merchant' nor am i an 'activist', merely challenging racism where it's found. Rewind Tezzer - Jace started the 'Fear factor' thread as the wind up, i merely posted an alternative view. I wanted to close the earlier thread to save the embarrassment to the club of any further racism, then Jace started his pol!

It appears you are sticking up for your partner in crime, again (and i do mean crime) and trying to put the blame for this on me, two words -GROW UP

the orignal founders of the sikh faith were asked to step up and be killed to show there religous conviction one by one they stepped up despite hearing the man before hims scream they were not killed but made into the founding fathers,the dagger is simble of the throat slitting that never happend.

In recent court cases bull terriers have been used for just that! (and yes it was also to make you bite - which you did!) and thats why yobs hide behind a straining leash 'to look hard' there are so many bad owners it's no wonder there are so many 'hard looking' dogs in rescue centers.

My dog is another story, she has a bad attitude, but mostly because she isn't a pet. no lounging in front of the fire, or lying on the settee having her tummy tickled. Her life is doing battle with the local wildlife on a daily basis

i think id be worried if i was a white mother home alone .... its far more common to get beaten up for being from the wrong side of town or not in with the in crowd .

however id also ring the police and report a disturbance of the peace and inciting racial hatred - because an actual crime has already been committed.


but then i wouldnt live in a place like that . nor would i choose to bring my children up there either

Absolutely correct. Ive kept staffys all my life except for a short period due to natural progression which coincided with the very people you describe keeping them and pit bulls.

My current one is a point in case. Came from the RSPCA in August after a "bad start in life" . He's an absolute beauty, had the choice of (if I recall) about ten of them. Broke my heart.
