Taxed mine online today. Was on my reminder about not being issued a tax disc after 1 st October.
Got the confirmation email saved and printed off as proof. Gonna feel lost for a while with nothing in the corner of the window.

They have been putting loads up around here over the last few months & they've went OTT on the A1 next to the Metrocentre not just ANPR but average speed cameras as well as they have dropped that section of the A1 to a 40 limit

Elty you could leave your old tax disc on to confuse people

Wider bike lanes
After seeing the size of some of the rear ends of the cyclists the other week over in hope valley they should start making lycra shorts with wide load printed on the back

Well there is no bike or bus lanes on the A1 think they dropped the limit from 70 because people can't seem to drive this easy section of road & to make some big money from the thousands of vehicles that use it every day.
The DVLA is a joke when it comes to the road tax anyway know someone who's tax ran out in August yet she hasn't been done by the DVLA or even stopped by the police

Must admit, our MOT ran out on one of our cars by nearly 2 months, we went to Gatwick airport twice, Heathrow once up and down the motorway many times and into lots of towns

Don't get me wrong, I ride a bike and have no beef with responsible cyclists, but these new bike lanes are super smooth highways, when what's left of the original highway is in a shit condition...potholes and scars
