You are most likely correct, my diesel knowledge is more truck related 12 ltr NA and 7 ltr turbos some twin jobbies a little intercooler and a little pump tweek will not be I guess too bad, probably getting too critical in my old age, Rick

Shall we call you Victor Meldrew
I know a half turn on the trol N/A engine just brings it up to where it should be in the 1st place. Nissan kept the pumps below par for emmissions and mpg reasons when fighting against more modern engine fuel return figures.

Aye, I've still got a intercooler as the ferret guy said, I was gonna fit one, but then was stopped, you need another turbo and inlet manifold, but as they say, the fueling needs tweaked for any real difference

Pete we are learning all the time, my work T2 has been giving me shit MPG for months now like 17 to 18 after reading some stuff on the net I fitted a resistor in place of the inlet air temp sensor to kid the ECU that the air was cold, solo I am getting 28 and towing 22 looked at the plugs and nice light brown, before white, so increasing the fuel has made it more fuel efficient, do not give a whatsit about emissions when it hits my pocket, Rick
