bloody halifax - the bank not the town!
Just a note for any of you who bank with the halifax. They have changed the terms and conditions of their current accounts which means that if you go into an authorised overdraft, you will be charged £1 per day. This means that if you go into the red by £5 for 5 days a month you will pay them back with a staggering 1200% apr. If you go into an unauthorised overdraft the amount will be 6000%!
So we bail the gits out and WE will be paying for their mistakes for a generation but they have the gall to do a Dick Turpin on their loyal customers. It is now cheaper to use their credit card than an authorised overdraft. Voting with my feet - going to join nationwide on Monday. Lee |

Thanks. My mate works for the halifax and he says that work has told him that all the banks are going down this road.
If this is the case then I will just keep swapping banks until there is no more. |
