I got one off a vw sharan VR6 - doesn't bolt straight on by a long chalk thought. I just did a search for something like this and waited for one to come up at the right price.
It helps that mine has the separate vacume pump, some T2's have them built into the alternator in which case you need one of a diesel thats the same. Thry this search Quote:

Can't find one on ebay at the moment (I have a pre production model on trial on mine).
One of THESE would actually do the job - just connect the trigger circuit to the charge light circuit on the back of the alternator, it means it will charge both batteries all the time the engine is running but for most things thats fine. You can then put a switch in that circuit to allow you to over ride it etc when you want to. |
