Lazy weekend
Just dossed about trying to understand the demo of Fugawi, still hopelessly confused with it and spent Sunday watching the wife nip in and out the back trying to catch a bit of sunshine. Everytime she went out the sun disappeared behind a cloud and when she came back in it was sunny again.. Had to cancel the planned BBQ as it started raining then, typical Irish weather. Really should have greased steering stops and clutch pedal but forgot where I left the grease. Oh well, always another time.

Saturday went out looking for a caravan, then came home did some work in the house, had some drinks, burnt some wood in the rain. Sunday went walking at Oakwell hall in Birstall. Did soem measuring in the garden, cleaned out Bob the Rabbit and let the Guinea pigs out into their converted garden. Fitted new centre consoel pocket thingy in my Mav-looks nice now, thought about washing the cars, then thought better of it. Had drinks, watched Underworld three then Lost then read a book! Plays violent on-line wargame all night then goes looking for a caravan... Did some measuring in the garden (WTF is that all about???) If it was Rise of the Lycans, all is forgiven then. |

Sun came out.
Went 20 miles with better-half and picknick (no grog--- duty driver) to watch Grandson play cricket. Parked Terrano at side of cricket field , watched him play and simultaneously listened to local footy on car radio,(Shrewsbury now going to Wembly)--great stuff---, nearby fellow grandad had TV in car so kept up to speed on Spanish GP. Sun still shining JB won Grand Prix----Sun feels even hotter now Grandson' s Team won---just! Sun went in. 18.00--" extended family" meal at great eatery. Still no grog---still duty driver--7 in Terrano-- 22.30---fell into a large glass of red at home. The rest is a blurr |
