Default WAY too many forums!

First visit to the site is about 5 months, now the old site had a lot of forums, but after a while I managed to work my way around them, but now, well, someone has gone mental with the "add forum" button.

Just a friendly word of advice from someone who has been running successful forums for 9 years: make the forums too hard for users to find their way around and they won't return.

Anyway, my question...

A while back I was after a part for the T2 and Nissan wanted silly money. A few peeps gave me the name of a supplier on the net that was mucho cheaper, but I can't remember who it was. I know need a front wheel sensor, anyone know who this cheap supplier might be?

BTW- Just realised my membership had expired, which explains why I couldn't read some forums! I've just paid via paypal.

And the quick reply box doesn't work in safari.

Welcome back Baskie, point taken but think that many of the forums were in place under
old ownership. What Bat21 has done is opened up the tech forums to make it easier to
find info relating to a given model and not have to trawl thru as many posts looking for
something related to your truck.

Under Mav we had already set up a Green laning mini club section and dedicated areas
to ICE etc. Its an ongoing task moving old threads to their respective areas. As you'll
appreciate Rome wasn't rebuilt! in a day.

Hi Steve, thanks for the feedback. I created the sub sections in an attempt to make each one more vehicle specific and intimately make it more user friendly.

I have used the same idea for 8 years now on another site I run (my other passion is motorcycles) which has just under 10,000 active members

Hi, I have had your other thread drawn to my attention regarding that other post I made, and the fact I was perhaps teaching grandma to suck eggs!

No offense meant, I'm just one of those people who likes to offer his opinion, whether sought or not!

:-)
