Default Left hand drive

Don't know if this should be in the Jokes and Humour section or here. Reading about Terranos apparently having a tendency to pull a little left, reminded me of a garage I left a Renault 18 in to have the tracking done. It needed a ball joint and that was done but when I got the car back it was still pulling to the left. So I rang the garage and explained to the service manager that it was still pulling to the left, his explanation almost left me speechless!!! It was pulling to the left because of the camber of the road, if I was driving the car in France,on the right hand side of the road he assured me that it would be perfect. I explained that I was only going to be driving it in Ireland. He then told me that Renault had sent a memo to them explaining this phenonemom. This was a main dealer Renault garage. Anyone else had similar amusing incidents with garages?
